Hip Augmentation Surgery

Beautiful shape, tightening sagging areas to make them firm

Detail

Hip augmentation is suitable for individuals with concerns about their buttocks, such as having no butt or experiencing sagging. This procedure helps achieve an aesthetically pleasing shape and tightens sagging areas, enhancing the silhouette when wearing skirts or fitted pants, ultimately boosting confidence.

At Janasia, hip augmentation is performed using silicone implants similar to those used in breast augmentation, though the shape and design differ to achieve a permanent result. This method is highly safe and popular.

Surgical Steps

1. The doctor will administer general anesthesia and position the patient face down.
2. An incision of approximately 5–7 cm will be made in the middle of the hip at the back.
3. A space will be created in the hip muscles large enough for the silicone implant.
4. The silicone implant will be placed in the desired position.
5. A drain will be inserted to allow for lymphatic fluid drainage.
6. The muscle and subcutaneous layers will be stitched closed.
7. If liposuction or fat injection is to be performed, this will occur after the wound is closed.
8. In cases where there is significant sagging, a lifting procedure may be necessary, or excess skin may be excised and stitched up.
9. The incision will be covered with a compression bandage. If liposuction was performed, a special garment may need to be worn. The stitched area will be located in the buttock crease, making it less noticeable.
10. A urinary catheter may be placed post-surgery to minimize the need for bathroom visits.

Post-Operative Care

1. Patients typically need to stay in the hospital for about 2 nights for monitoring and to manage any drainage tubes.
2. In the first week, plenty of rest is recommended, but patients do not need to remain in bed continuously. By days 3-4, patients can slowly walk or sit, though some pain may still be felt.
3. During the first week, patients should sleep face down and avoid lying on their backs to prevent pressure on the silicone implant.
4. The wound should be cleaned daily after the dressing is removed until the stitches are taken out.
5. Dressings can usually be removed on days 2 or 3 post-surgery.
6. Keep the wound dry; avoid getting the adhesive plaster wet.
7. By the second week, patients may sit on soft cushions.
8. Regular daily activities can typically be resumed about 10 days post-surgery.
9. Pain around the hip area may persist for the first 1-3 months.
10. Patients should not feel the implants as foreign objects within 6-8 months.
11. Wear compression garments for one week to help keep the silicone implants in place.
